EVERY BODY is a dancer! Prior to my teacher training in June of 2013, my only dance experience was dancing around the kitchen while cooking dinner. I dabbled in yoga here and there. But when I walked into my first Noon Dance class at Kripalu, I was completely blown away by the fun energy, silliness, and depth of emotion that came out in one hour, not to mention the fact that I got a great workout! I had to have more, and felt passionate about bringing this free-form movement back to my community.
Anyone can participate (I even danced in a chair for half the training due to a hip injury). From 9 year olds to 99 year olds, if you are willing to smile and move, come try out a class. Younger children are welcome to join and participate in whatever interests them as well!
